According to a post on the AHRA website, the State of New Hampshire has signed a law to create licensure standards for medical imaging profesisonals.  Below is an except from their website:

..."This legislation creates licensure standards for radiographers, radiation therapists, nuclear medicine technologists, magnetic resonance technologists, radiologist assistants, limited x-ray machine operators and sonographers. It also mandates the creation of a board to administer the license regulations...."

In speaking with the staff at the State of Iowa Department of Public Health, we were advised that their rules regarding continuing education have changed somewhat based on the new ARRT ruling that allows technologists to repeat courses in subsequent bienniums.  This only applies to general radiologic technologists.

For people holding a Limited radiologic technologists license, they are still NOT allowed to repeat courses in the same OR subsequent bienniums.
